Curry Career Services
Curry Career Services works in tandem with University Career Services to provide guidance and resources to Curry STudents as they explore career options. The office helps students and graduates with their career planning and job or graduate school needs from providing feedback on resumes/CVs or personal statements to advising on full or part-time and summer job searching whether targeting K-12, higher education, clinical, private industry or non-profit positions.
Student Led Organizations
The Education Council represents the student body of the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. The Education Council helps Curry students by providing a voice to the Curry administration and faculty as well as to the general public.
SEEDS4Change (Students in Education Engaged in Diversity Scholarship for
Change) is an organization in the Curry School that promotes extended dialogue on diversity in education and cultural competency within the Curry and Charlottesville community. We accomplish this mission through a dialogue series called Curry Conversation that meets every third Thursday of the month, a Book Club to discuss specific works on multiculturalism and identity and various community outreach activities.
