Curry partners with the College of Arts & Sciences to offer BAMT and BSMT programs. Curry also offers its own BSEd/MT degree in Health and Physical Education. Those who complete this program successfully are eligible for licensure. [top]

Graduate ProgramsThe Post Graduate Master of Teaching (PGMT) degree is designed for those without full-time teaching experience who wish to earn initial licensure. Endorsement areas include Early Childhood/Special Education, Elementary Education, English Education, Foreign Language Education, Health and Physical Education, Math Education, Science Education, Social Studies Education, Special Education. Programs are offered only on a full-time basis.

Non-Degree ProgramsCurry also has non-degree options for individuals seeking general professional development, licensure or endorsement. General Studies Professional Development allows individuals who have not been admitted to a degree program to enroll in classes. You may apply up to 6 graduate credits taken at UVA or at another institution toward a degree, if coursework is approved by program-area faculty.
